Each of these finger puppets designed by renowned artist Bill Helin symbolizes a meaning and teaches a value.  All finger puppets are 5" H.

For example:

  • The Frog is the voice of the people, and strives for family unity and also aids the leap into the unknown.
  • The Raven is the first symbol and crest of the Northwest Coastal Indigenous communities. This mystical bird is a symbol of prestige.
  • Eagle is the national symbol of America, and a symbol of power & of peace.
  • The Salmon is a highly respected symbol and given to those you respect.

Bill Helin (Welaaxam Yout) is of Tlingit, Tsimshian and Norwegian ancestry.

Born in the Northwest Coastal community of Prince Rupert, BC, Bill spent countless hours listening to his indigenous grandmother.

Bill has tried to capture the wonder of the many legends and songs she taught him in these plush toys.
