This session will invite teachers to think about Ontario’s Pedagogy for the Early Years, How Does Learning Happen

We will consider blocks from an historical and theoretical perspective, highlighting why blocks continue to be an integral component in all early learning programs and classrooms today.

Learn hands-on:
Why blocks are integral in early childhood education.
How you can put this knowledge to use in your own classroom or child care centre.
Plus experience a wide range of different types of blocks to engage all children from toddler to the primary classroom and beyond.

A day full of engaging, playful exploration that will inspire you to bring a greater emphasis on block play back to the children in your classroom.
